International Corporate Governance and Corporate Power Networks

This book describes the latest developments in governance network dynamics and governance systematic of some of the largest network economies of the world: the United States, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and France. Based on an advanced theoretical basis on corporate governance, governance systems, and interorganizational network research the international corporate power structures are described in a comprehensive way. The aim of this work is to enhance transparency in the complex systems of corporate interlocks prevalent and describe the dramatic changes in (economic) power structure in the corporate landscapes of those economies.

 

Co-Author Jochen Heubischl, Ph.D.

Jochen S. Heubischl, Ph.D. is Deal Manager at Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt. He has professional experience with a strong loan and risk management background in the sphere of lending business and credit derivative markets and is experienced in risk mitigation techniques and portfolio management, especially in modeling credit portfolios and steering credit risks.

Heubischl graduated in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Mannheim, Germany, and has achieved his Ph.D. in Economics in 2006. His thesis is dealing with interdisciplinary aspects on network theory and corporate governance. He is author of several books and a number of articles in the field of Finance Theory, Behavioural Finance and International Corporate Governance.
