Markus A. Launer, Ph.D.

Markus Launer is managing partner and founder of Transatlantic Investor Relations LLC. He has been consulting European corporations in IR, PR, Public Affairs and Real Estate for over twelve years. Markus earned a degree as Diplom Kaufmann of the University of Mannheim and has a Ph.D. from the Tallinn University of Technology.

He started his professional career within the Hoechst Group and its subsidiary SGL Carbon in Germany and the US. In 1999 he founded his own company as investor relations consultant and interims manager in Germany as Dr. Launer Consultancy in Hemsbach, close to Heidelberg and Frankfurt. His first assignments were for SGL Carbon, iXOS, Philipp Holzmann, Media! and Altana in New York. In 2004 he founded the legal entity Transatlantic Investor Relations in New York to better serve his clients abroad. He also teaches at the University of Applied Science Braunschweig and conducts own academic research in the field of international management, investor relations and creditor relations.
